Ideal City Break for the Spring
This third floor apartment is to be found in a newly converted historic granary that overlooks the harbour and the River Tweed. You can look out at the swans and seals and watch the comings and goings of the boats. The Elizabethan walls of Berwick-upon-Tweed and the red pantile roofs of this historic town can be seen across the estuary. The painter, L.S. The flat was comfortable and very stylish, the Welcome Basket made a really nice touch but the highlight of the visit is the view from the window - all those swans and some seals. Mr. and Mrs Bryant, Derby Oct 2011
Wonderful spring break. It was lovely walking round the town walls and seeing the views along the Tweed, Anna and Paul. February 2011
This was our second visit and there is still much to see. Had a lovely visit to Edinburgh and took the train rather than drove. Some good pubs around. Sam and Peter Aug 2011
